One with yourself

A few nights ago, I had a strange dream. I don’t remember seeing anything clearly, but somehow I felt awake while I was still asleep. Everything was dark, and I could hear voices speaking to me about religion the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

The message I took from the dream was that to feel one with God, you must first become one with yourself: your mind, your spirit, and the way you live. It made me think about all the thoughts we keep trapped inside our heads and the words we hold back because we’re afraid or uncertain.

Maybe faith is not only about listening to what is happening within us, but also learning when and how to express it in the world. Not every thought needs to become an action, but some thoughts may be asking us to pause, reflect, and speak honestly.

Sometimes we feel stuck in our own minds because we haven’t yet found the right words or because the right moment hasn’t arrived. Perhaps part of trusting God is developing the wisdom to know when to remain still and when to speak.
